Cindy Savett's first book of poetry, Child in the Road, was published in 2007 by Parlor Press. Her work has appeared in journals including CutBank, LIT, 26 Magazine, The Marlboro Review, and Free Verse. New work is forthcoming in Dusie and Word For/Word. She lives in the Philadelphia area with her family and teaches poetry workshops to psychiatric inpatients at Friends Hospital.
