Debrah Morkun

Debrah Morkun received her MFA in Writing & Poetics from Naropa University in 2004. In October 2007, she started The New Philadelphia Poets (www.newphiladelphiapoets.com), a group committed to expanding the spaces for poetry in Philadelphia. Her long poem Projection Machine served as the lyrical impetus for a multimedia performance in The Philadelphia Fringe Festival 2008. She teaches English and Writing at Temple University and The Community College of Philadelphia.
